The International Teaching Competency Certificate is a new and innovative teaching accreditation programme, designed especially for people employed at international schools seeking recognition for their teaching abilities. Following the British Teaching Standards, The International Teacher Competency Certificate, ITCC, is endorsed by Penta International, accredited school inspectors by the British Government. Operated by Horus Education Limited, the ITCC is carried out through a single face to face lesson observation enabling the Accredited Assessor to verify your outstanding classroom practice. It is the new, affordable gateway to benchmarking quality teaching. Currently only available within Egypt, the ITCC is here to take you to the next level as a highly qualified international teacher, giving you the competitive advantage in today’s job market.
It is designed for any teacher or experienced teaching assistant currently working at an international school in Egypt.
Individual teachers will benefit from obtaining a certificate from Penta International - a globally recognised & accredited educational company. This enhances their personal sense of satisfaction and also helps separate them from the rest when it comes to seeking a new job.
International Schools can purchase batches of TEN lesson observations at a discounted rate. What better way to attract parents than being to actually demonstrate the quality of teachers in your school via enabling them to obtain the ITCC?
No, it is available for teachers at ANY international school regardless of curriculum as long as the medium of instruction is English (with the exception of Language Teachers).
The ITCC is endorsed by Penta International who are one of the leading independent providers of training, consultancy and inspection services in the United Kingdom and overseas. Founded in 1996, they specialise in inspecting schools overseas, including British Schools Overseas. Penta International is licensed by the British Government.
